About Me

I am an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. As a first-generation Ph.D. graduate, I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, specializing in applied microeconomics. I am enthusiastic about labor economics with research on diversity and inclusion, education, public policy analysis, and innovative initiatives that can advance our understanding of learning environments in K-16.

Beyond my professional endeavors as a researcher, instructor and mentor, my dedication to diversity and active involvement in fostering inclusivity extends into my personal life and service roles. I like jogging, walking, reading, photographing and sometimes digital arts, which I often share on sicial media. I deeply feel connected to the nature (at any season) and enjoy hiking so much.
